Qassia Mission

The objective of this site is to allow website owners and webmasters to efficiently promote their web sites. Those promoting their websites on Qassia are rewarded with traffic and exposure for their websites in our web directory. The ultimate goal of this site is to obviate the need for link exchanges or submissions to web directories during the SEO (search engine optimization) process, and to instead focus website promotion activity on the development of original content.

Press Release - Acreon, Inc. Takes 5 Percent Stake in Qassia

The Qassia project is today announcing its first outside investment. Acreon, Inc. have taken a five (5) percent stake in Qassia. The transaction was agreed on April 22, 2008.

Qassia is a privately owned web startup. The founders retain the entire remaining ownership, which now amounts to 95 percent of the project.

This investment is the first investment in Qassia since the launching of the project on January 4, 2008. Billed as an "intelligence engine," Qassia is a Web 2.0 user community aimed at website owners. Since being launched, the project has quickly built up a large and active community of users. The fast-paced growth of the user community is expected to continue for the foreseeable future.

The Qassia project is aimed at making the promotion of websites easier and more productive, and as such has as a vast target market of website owners. Qassia has developed a number of innovations in-house, such as the fully automated cascading tag-based directory. With the investment from Acreon, Inc., the development of features and functions is expected to accelerate over the coming months.
